About This Opportunity

We are representing a high-growth insurtech organization expanding rapidly across the UK market. Our talent team is searching for a Business Development Manager who will serve as a frontline driver of insurer partnerships and revenue growth. This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.

If you excel at opening doors, closing deals quickly, and turning partnerships into sustainable revenue streams, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and activate new insurer partners with speed and precision, leading the full partnership cycle from outreach through integration and go-live
  • Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline with consistent follow-ups, ensuring every prospect moves through the funnel with urgency and zero drop-offs
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements confidently, working cross-functionally with legal, product, and technical teams to ensure fast activation
  • Drive ongoing partner performance and revenue, monitoring KPIs and optimizing volume post-launch to turn partnerships into long-term commercial success
  • Operate with full autonomy and ownership, solving problems independently and maintaining momentum without requiring hands-on management

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance or fintech industry with demonstrated success in partnership development and commercial negotiation
  • Existing network of insurer relationships at senior levels, enabling immediate market penetration and accelerated conversations
  • Permanent UK residency with deep understanding of local regulations, insurer dynamics, and market behavior
  • Strong commercial instincts and understanding of underwriting considerations, partnership structures, and insurance business models
  • Highly self-driven and proactive professional who takes ownership rather than instructions, with a track record of hitting revenue and performance targets
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, founder-driven environments where speed, clarity, and results are paramount
