Account Executive

Join Xplor as an Account Executive in our Cincinnati, Ohio office—or work fully remote from anywhere. In this full-time sales role, you'll drive revenue growth by building relationships with merchants and partners, demonstrating the value of Xplor's solutions, and closing deals that transform their operations.

Role Overview

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the entire sales cycle for merchant and software customers. You'll identify opportunities, qualify prospects, conduct product demonstrations, negotiate terms, and guide deals to closure. This is a relationship-driven role where your consultative approach and product knowledge directly impact both client success and company growth. Working within our Merchant Sales division, you'll collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and support teams to ensure customers realize maximum value from day one.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads; identify decision-makers and key stakeholders within target accounts
• Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's business challenges
• Develop and execute sales strategies for new and existing accounts; manage pipeline from opportunity through contract signature
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts; articulate ROI and competitive advantages
• Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking in our CRM system
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, implementation, and success teams to accelerate deal velocity and customer onboarding
• Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets and activity metrics

Requirements

• Proven track record in B2B software or merchant services sales; minimum 2–3 years of relevant quota-carrying experience
• Strong understanding of sales fundamentals: prospecting, qualifying, consultative selling, and closing techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Self-motivated and disciplined; comfortable working independently in a remote environment while hitting aggressive targets
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools; ability to master new technology quickly
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
