About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Data Manager for Clinical Trials to join their team in Brazil. This role is essential to ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical trial data across pharmaceutical research projects.

Responsibilities
- Track database set-up, testing, maintenance and data entry activities
- Communicate with project teams and vendors on data management matters
- Review study documents and design project-specific guidelines and instructions
- Design electronic case report forms (eCRF), Data Management Plans, and Data Validation Plans
- Test electronic data capture (EDC) databases to ensure functionality and compliance
- Ensure data entry, follow-up and validation, including manual CRF review and SAE reconciliation
- Code medical data according to standardized terminology
- Track and report metrics leading to database lock
- Coordinate the processing, dispatch and archiving of case report forms and queries
- Maintain Clinical Data Management working files
- Perform database quality control checks and prepare for audits
- Train site staff and project teams on CRF completion and data management topics
What We're Looking For
- College or University degree (Life Science or Pharmacy degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated experience managing clinical or medical data
- Full working proficiency in English
- Experience with Clinical Data Management systems such as Medidata Rave or Oracle InForm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and data integrity
- Based in Brazil
