Associate Software Engineer

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their development team in a remote capacity. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop scripts and application logic using Python
• Work with both relational and non-relational database systems to support application requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets team standards
• Collaborate using version control tools in macOS and Linux command-line environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and data structures
• Proficiency in Python for developing scripts and application logic
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Redis or DynamoDB
• Understanding of version control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with macOS and Linux command-line environments
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Relevant internship or project experience in software development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or MCA with exposure to Android or iOS development

Preferred qualifications:

• Exposure to REST APIs and basic web development (HTML/CSS)
• Understanding of AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
• Participation in competitive programming, open-source contributions, or exposure to Generative AI technologies
