We are representing a confidential AI technology organization experiencing exceptional global growth. Our client is scaling from several hundred to over 1,000 team members by end of 2026, operating across 46+ countries with a highly distributed workforce spanning research, engineering, go-to-market, and operations functions.

As their exclusive recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is seeking a Compensation & Total Rewards leader to own and evolve their global compensation strategy. This role will design systems that are competitive in frontier AI markets, internally consistent, globally scalable, and built for long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the global compensation philosophy, ensuring pay, equity, and incentives reinforce attraction, retention, and performance
• Balance market competitiveness with internal equity and financial discipline across diverse global markets
• Design and evolve job architecture and leveling frameworks that provide clarity without creating bureaucracy
• Own equity programs that reflect genuine ownership philosophy, partnering with Finance and Legal on grant strategy and refresh cycles
• Lead annual compensation reviews end-to-end, building clear off-cycle governance and decision frameworks
• Design global benefits strategy that balances standardization with regional relevance across a distributed workforce
• Serve as the final escalation point for leveling and pay consistency decisions
• Introduce AI-enabled workflows to improve speed and consistency in compensation processes
• Partner closely with Operations, Legal, and Finance leadership on complex compensation decisions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in Compensation or Total Rewards, ideally in high-growth technology companies operating across multiple countries
• Demonstrated ownership of equity programs and strong track record building compensation systems that scale
• Experience designing and evolving job architectures and leveling systems
• Proven ability to operate in fast-scaling, ambiguous environments
• First-principles thinker who approaches problems without bias
• Hands-on builder comfortable designing systems from scratch
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations
• Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering with senior leaders in complex, fast-moving environments
• High standards and high ownership mentality
