The Opportunity
We're seeking a hands-on SAP BTP Developer to join our cloud development team. In this remote role, you'll architect, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, leveraging modern technologies like Fiori and UI5 to deliver intuitive user experiences. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and architects to build solutions that power digital transformation for enterprises worldwide, growing your technical expertise while making a meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop cloud applications using SAP BTP and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)
- Build responsive, user-centric interfaces with SAP Fiori and UI5 frameworks
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code following best practices and coding standards
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect applications and data sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver solutions on schedule
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance
- Participate in testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions
Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of professional experience in SAP technologies, cloud development, or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori, and UI5
- Hands-on experience with CAPM and cloud application development patterns
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end development
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote team environments
