Our talent team is representing a confidential defense contractor seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance in Lexington Park, St. Mary's County. This role supports critical direct and time-sensitive strike weapon programs, focusing on advanced missile development and sustainment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support weapon systems acquisition, development, and sustainment activities
• Contribute to advanced guided missile system engineering efforts
• Provide technical expertise for direct strike and time-sensitive strike programs
• Collaborate with program office stakeholders and engineering teams
• Ensure systems meet operational requirements and technical specifications

What We're Looking For

• Active Security Clearance required
• Senior-level systems engineering experience in defense or aerospace
• Background in weapon systems, missile systems, or related military platforms
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of integrated project teams
• Experience with acquisition programs and DoD frameworks preferred
