Litigation Associate Attorney (BigLaw Firms)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential legal technology organization seeking experienced Litigation Associate Attorneys to support an innovative project. This is a remote contractor position for attorneys currently practicing or recently practicing at AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious firms.

In this role, you'll leverage your litigation and transactional expertise to contribute to the development of next-generation legal technology systems. Your domain knowledge and legal reasoning will help shape how advanced systems learn and perform. No prior technology experience is required—your legal expertise is what matters.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and provide detailed feedback on complex litigation and transactional documents, including contracts related to M&A, private equity, and capital markets activities
• Draft sample agreements and legal clauses, drawing upon your experience with high-value M&A transactions and private equity deals
• Evaluate legal scenarios and offer structured commentary in areas such as data privacy and cross-border transactions
• Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams to provide legal insight and ensure accuracy in simulated legal tasks
• Contribute to the development of legal frameworks and decision rubrics
• Participate in iterative feedback cycles to refine training materials, ensuring legal precision and practical applicability

What We're Looking For

• JD from a US law school and active bar admission in good standing within the United States
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious law firm, specifically with litigation and complex transactional matters
• Demonstrated expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated legal reasoning for varied audiences
• Proven track record of successful remote collaboration and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail in high-stakes legal contexts
• Familiarity with developing or applying structured review rubrics is desirable but not required
