The Opportunity
Athletic Trainers at US Physical Therapy provide essential injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to help patients return to optimal function. What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients presenting with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries using evidence-based assessment techniques
- Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and recovery goals
- Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, modalities, and functional training
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols as needed, and document clinical findings
- Educate patients on injury prevention, activity modification, and home exercise programs
- Communicate with referring physicians and collaborate with the broader clinical team
What We're Looking For
- Current state licensure as an Athletic Trainer or equivalent credentialing in Michigan
- Graduation from an accredited Athletic Training education program
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual techniques
- Excellent communication abilities and genuine interest in patient education and outcomes
- Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively to a team-based care model
- Commitment to continuing professional development in physical therapy and athletic training
