Analytics Director

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global media organization seeking an Analytics Director to join their team in London. This is a critical leadership position focused on driving data-driven decision-making for a major global account. You'll serve as the subject matter expert on campaign analytics, ensuring data infrastructure integrity and leading post-campaign analysis initiatives. This role requires collaboration across planning, technology, and local market teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure & Management:

• Configure and maintain campaign data stack to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility for local markets
• Collaborate with technology leadership to identify, evaluate, and implement new analytical tools and technologies
• Maintain and optimize existing dashboards to provide accurate, relevant, and timely stakeholder information
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement solutions for data accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures

Campaign Analysis & Reporting:

• Lead post-campaign analysis workstream, developing comprehensive reports on campaign performance, ROI, and improvement opportunities
• Utilize ROI insights from planning tools to inform campaign strategy and optimize budget allocation
• Develop and implement standardized reporting templates and dashboards for local market teams
• Identify trends and patterns to provide proactive recommendations for future campaigns
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders clearly and concisely

Collaboration & Training:

• Partner with planning teams to integrate data-driven insights into campaign strategy and execution
• Work with local market teams to understand their specific data needs and provide tailored support
• Prepare and test new analytical tools with planning and local market teams to ensure adoption
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team data literacy
• Serve as subject matter expert on campaign analytics, providing guidance to colleagues

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a data analytics roadmap aligned with overall business objectives
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and campaign measurement
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for improved campaign performance and business growth
• Contribute to development of new analytical methodologies and techniques
• Champion a data-driven culture within the team

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in analytics within media, advertising, or marketing environments
• Strong technical skills in data infrastructure management and campaign measurement platforms
• Expert-level proficiency in analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting systems
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
• Experience with ROI modeling and budget optimization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholder engagement
• Track record of implementing new analytical tools and driving team adoption
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical capabilities
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
• Must have the right to work in the UK
