Technical Product Manager – AI Stockbroking App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization that is building an AI-powered investment platform for Southeast Asia. This is a highly technical product role focused on payments, wealth management, and trading infrastructure where reliability and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will own a complete product vertical from strategy through delivery, working at the intersection of AI innovation, financial infrastructure, and regulatory requirements. This role requires someone who understands both the power and limitations of AI, and knows when deterministic systems must take precedence.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery for a critical product vertical
• Shape technical architecture alongside engineering teams, including APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Make sophisticated trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience
• Embed regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy controls, and licensing
• Deploy AI capabilities strategically where they genuinely improve outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate complex external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure partners, and third-party integrations
• Align cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch criteria

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex technical products from conception through production
• Strong technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions
• Direct experience in regulated, high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading
• Exceptional product judgment and ability to navigate difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Hands-on experience building products with LLMs or AI, including evaluation methodologies, reliability considerations, and understanding when AI should not be applied
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams

This is a hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, requiring at least 3 days per week in the local office.
