Product Manager Westwing Collection (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for a Product Manager to lead category strategy and portfolio development. This is a permanent, office-based role in Munich with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week on-site.

You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned categories within a curated home and living collection. Working at the intersection of design, commerce, and strategy, you'll shape assortment planning, identify growth opportunities, and drive commercial performance through active portfolio management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute assortment strategies by analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities within your product categories
• Build a compelling product portfolio in close partnership with design and sourcing teams
• Maintain portfolio health through proactive management, bringing an entrepreneurial and ownership-driven approach
• Identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities, leveraging AI tools and automation to optimize performance
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including sourcing, design, supply chain, quality assurance, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution
• Drive strategic planning from concept through commercialization and ongoing optimization

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in physical product management, consumer retail, or business development
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical problem-solving capabilities with a bias toward fast execution
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Deep passion for interior design and home living, with intuitive product sense
• Clear, persuasive communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholders across cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a strong plus
• Experience in e-commerce or digitally native brands is highly valued
