Role Overview

As a District Manager with Public Storage, you'll take charge of operations across multiple storage facilities within the Tampa area. In this full-time leadership role, you'll be the primary driver of operational excellence, revenue growth, and team performance across your district. You'll report directly to regional leadership and serve as the key decision-maker ensuring each facility maintains Public Storage's reputation for quality and service.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor facility managers and front-line staff across multiple storage locations, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development
• Conduct regular facility inspections and site visits to ensure compliance with company standards and operational best practices
• Monitor occupancy rates, rental income, and operational expenses to maximize profitability and financial performance
• Develop and execute strategies to increase customer acquisition, improve retention, and enhance tenant satisfaction
• Ensure facilities remain secure, clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities
• Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve complex operational issues
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for regional management

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record managing multi-unit operations in retail, hospitality, property management, or related fields
• Strong leadership abilities with success motivating and developing diverse teams
• Demonstrated experience in revenue optimization and profit management
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills using data and performance metrics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the district
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
