About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Product Manager, Retention & Expansion to join their distributed product team. This is a remote role based in Portugal (CET timezone).

Our client operates a global platform serving enterprise customers across North America, the UK, Australia, and Europe. They are building a large, complex product ecosystem that includes modern web applications, portals, admin tools, and internal systems—all designed to deliver measurable business impact at scale.

The team is 160+ product professionals distributed across Europe, operating with a focused, collaborative culture where thoughtful engineering practices and product thinking come first.

Responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager for Retention & Expansion, you will own customer retention, product adoption, and expansion growth across active organizations. Your mission is to turn product adoption into a scalable, predictable driver of retention and revenue growth.

• Define retention and expansion strategy: translate business targets into a prioritized 6–12 month roadmap that aligns product teams around measurable customer and business impact
• Lead discovery and opportunity diagnosis: run structured discovery using customer interviews, behavioral analysis, and funnel reviews to diagnose adoption blockers and maintain a validated opportunity backlog
• Own product adoption initiatives: define and prioritize cross-functional initiatives that drive activation, onboarding, discoverability, and monetization
• Drive cross-functional retention programs: lead retention and expansion programs in partnership with Marketing, Customer Success, GTM, and Product teams
• Measure outcomes and drive accountability: define and maintain a metric tree for retention, adoption, and monetization; make scale/iterate/stop decisions based on measurable outcomes
• Leverage AI/ML for retention: identify and validate opportunities for segmentation, churn prediction, and personalization in partnership with Data and Engineering

You will be accountable for retention and expansion growth, Average Processing Volume per Active Customer, cross-product adoption strategy, and the retention roadmap.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in Product Management, preferably in B2B SaaS, retention, monetization, growth, or customer lifecycle environments
• Experience operating at a Senior+ level of scope and influence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes behind adoption and churn challenges
• Proven ability to design and execute cross-functional growth initiatives
• Strong discovery background: customer interviews, behavioral analysis, funnel analysis, hypothesis generation
• Experience working with customer lifecycle, retention, activation, or expansion motions
• Ability to size opportunities and prioritize initiatives by business impact
• Experience collaborating with Customer Success, GTM, Marketing, and Product organizations
• Comfort working with AI/ML-enabled products or data-driven personalization
• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills
• Fluent English (C1+); Russian language skills are a plus as the team is Russian-speaking

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €5,600 - €6,100 per month. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and alignment with the role's requirements.
