Projektentwickler – Ostdeutschland (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Developer for Eastern Germany, based in Berlin. In this role, you will own the complete development lifecycle of wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage projects from initial site concept through permitting readiness and handover to construction.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable sites and land parcels for renewable energy projects, including feasibility analyses and land acquisition
• Steering permitting and planning procedures while coordinating consultants, planners, authorities, and project partners
• Assessing grid connection opportunities, project layouts, and economic viability; managing project costs, schedules, risks, and budgets
• Building and maintaining relationships with landowners, municipalities, authorities, grid operators, and business partners
• Coordinating internal and external stakeholders throughout the project development process
• Preparing projects for financing, marketing, sale, or transition into the construction and implementation phase

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in a technical or energy-related field
• Professional experience in renewable energy project development, grid integration, or grid connection planning
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and foundational understanding of grid-technical standards
• Analytical, structured, and self-directed working style
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional interfaces
• Professional-level German and advanced English language proficiency required
