About the Role
We are Mayflower GmbH, a company founded in 1998 that specializes in building individual software with a focus on Generative AI. Our mission is to bring complete AI infrastructures into production: Model-Serving, Agent-Gateways, Chat and Voice – directly in the customer's environment. You will work in an agile setting where you have significant responsibility and flat structures. You make decisions independently rather than through lengthy approval processes. We are seeking someone who not only designs AI systems but actively participates in their transition to production. From C-Level architecture consulting to operational deployment, you design the solution and implement it with your team.
Key Responsibilities
Designing solutions for complex customer projects while considering security, compliance, scalability, and data protection from initial sketches through concrete roadmaps.
Leading deep-dive calls and workshops with customers to advance project phases.
Supporting the team in pre-sales with technical credibility.
Communicating confidently on C-Level – understanding economic goals, speaking the language of decision-makers, and connecting technical excellence with business impact.
What We're Looking For
Experience in designing AI systems for production environments.
A strong background in Generative AI, including LLMs, Agentic RAG, and AI Agent Frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, PydanticAI, Mastra, or OpenAI Agents SDK).
Proficiency in building evaluation pipelines and observability (logging/tracing with tools like LangSmith, Langfuse).
Knowledge of modern MLOps stacks and vector databases.
A proven track record in leading complex projects from inception to production.
Excellent communication skills for interacting at C-Level.
