Senior Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing organization in their search for a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in London. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.

Our client operates at the intersection of data-driven performance marketing and consumer technology, serving global brands through scalable web platforms. Their technology team is expanding, and they need an experienced engineer who can contribute across the full stack while helping to elevate technical standards across the development organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development across both frontend and backend codebases, delivering production-quality features
• Shape system architecture and technical design decisions with focus on scalability, security, and performance
• Mentor and support fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and knowledge sharing
• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks including Next.js and React
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional, intuitive user experiences
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintain containerized deployment workflows

What We're Looking For

• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Proven experience building backend systems with Node.js and Express.js
• Hands-on experience with both SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker
• Knowledge of content management systems is a bonus
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for both teaching and learning from teammates
• Comfort working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements
