About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential agtech organization expanding into Argentina's cattle sector. This is a founding Regional Sales Manager role covering the Mar y Sierras region—a rare chance to build customer presence from the ground up in one of the world's great beef-producing nations.

Our client is bringing innovative virtual fencing technology to large-scale grazing operations. As their first sales hire on the ground in Argentina, you'll be establishing the foundation for regional growth, converting early adopters, and shaping the local sales function as it scales.

Responsibilities

  • Source new leads through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound channels
  • Meet ambitious sales targets by managing pipeline end-to-end—screening, qualifying, conducting on-farm demonstrations, and closing contracts
  • Lay groundwork for the local sales function, including quota setting, commission structures, and sales management processes
  • Coach and mentor future sales staff as the team grows, driving professional development and target achievement
  • Collaborate with Customer Success for smooth handoffs, implementations, and long-term account satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers throughout the deployment cycle
  • Participate in and leverage industry events and demonstrations to establish brand presence
  • Provide customer feedback to inform product development and roadmap priorities
  • Optimize and evolve the sales process for speed, efficiency, and predictability

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of complete end-to-end sales experience with proven results
  • Demonstrated success sourcing prospects, securing meetings, and creating new opportunities
  • Strong value-based sales background with a track record of closing deals and high-volume results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex value propositions persuasively
  • Experience in beef farming or the agricultural sector (highly desirable)
  • Results-driven and highly motivated with exceptional time management
  • Adaptability in high-stakes environments; comfort with ambiguity and building in new markets
  • Technology industry sales experience preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish; professional working English for global team collaboration
  • University degree or equivalent (preferred but not required)
