As Head Chef, you will lead our kitchen team with vision, expertise, and a commitment to culinary excellence. You'll oversee all aspects of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen management whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and oversee the execution of menus that reflect both creativity and commercial viability
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve consistent standards across all service periods
• Manage food costs, waste reduction, and inventory whilst maintaining profitability targets
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with management on menu innovation, seasonal specials, and guest feedback implementation
• Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to the highest operational standards
• Create a positive, professional kitchen culture that supports staff development and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role within a hospitality environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredient sourcing, and culinary best practice
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and relevant safety legislation
• Excellent team leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimise kitchen operations effectively
• Passion for quality, consistency, and continuous culinary improvement
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
