Senior Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own a sophisticated hybrid search intelligence product. This role carries high visibility and strategic importance, directly impacting how millions of employees access critical information.

In this position, you will:

• Own the product transition from general availability through the next maturity phase, incorporating customer feedback and defining clear roadmap priorities
• Establish meaningful success metrics that balance technical performance with genuine user value
• Collaborate closely with AI assistant teams to ensure search intelligence aligns with conversational interfaces
• Expand search coverage across content types including video subtitle indexing and richer media formats
• Drive enterprise integrations connecting the platform to external knowledge bases and collaboration tools
• Lead re-ranking improvements and relevance quality initiatives as the product scales
• Define what effective information discovery means for employees across desktop and mobile environments

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to search, information retrieval, or AI/ML-powered products
• B2B SaaS background strongly preferred—you understand enterprise customers, IT stakeholders, and integration complexity
• Demonstrated ability to manage technically complex products while keeping user needs central
• Satisfaction in iterating, improving, and maturing products beyond initial launch
• Confidence to negotiate priorities with senior, highly technical engineering teams
• Technical fluency sufficient to discuss search infrastructure, indexing, and ranking trade-offs credibly (coding not required)
• User orientation that ties performance metrics back to end-user impact

Highly desirable experience:

• Semantic or vector search—understanding embeddings, retrieval models, and meaning-based matching
• Search relevance and re-ranking, including signals, scoring, and quality tuning
• Indexing pipelines and content ingestion processes
• Enterprise knowledge platform integrations
• AI-generated summaries or answer synthesis features
• Search evaluation frameworks beyond basic click-through metrics

Location: Dresden, Sachsen (hybrid work model available)
