Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential employee communications platform company seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own their hybrid search intelligence product end-to-end. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on how millions of frontline employees find critical information.

In this position, you will:

  • Own the product transition from general availability release through the next expansion phase, incorporating customer feedback and defining clear roadmap priorities
  • Establish success metrics for search that balance technical performance with genuine user value
  • Collaborate closely with the AI assistant team to ensure search intelligence integration
  • Expand search coverage including video subtitle indexing, richer content types, and deeper platform integrations with enterprise knowledge bases
  • Build toward enterprise-grade search capabilities connecting to external platforms
  • Drive re-ranking improvements and relevance quality optimization as the product matures
  • Define what it means for employees to find the right information, at the right time, from any device

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to search, information retrieval, or AI/ML-powered products
  • B2B SaaS background strongly preferred—you understand enterprise customers, IT stakeholders, and integration complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to work on technically complex products while keeping user needs central
  • Track record of iterating, improving, and maturing products beyond initial launch
  • Confident and opinionated approach—able to hold your own with senior, highly technical engineering teams and negotiate priorities
  • Technical fluency to understand search infrastructure, indexing, and ranking well enough to have credible conversations about trade-offs
  • User-oriented mindset that ties performance metrics back to end-user impact

Highly desirable experience:

  • Semantic or vector search—understanding embeddings, retrieval models, and meaning-based matching
  • Search relevance and re-ranking—tuning results quality, signals, scoring, and trade-offs
  • Indexing pipelines—how content gets ingested, structured, and made searchable
  • Enterprise knowledge integrations with platforms like collaboration software and knowledge bases
  • AI-generated summaries or answer synthesis from retrieved results
  • Search evaluation frameworks including offline evaluation, human judgment, and metric design
