Retention Marketing Specialist – Fully Remote | Upto $100/hr

About This Opportunity

Our client, a confidential technology organization, is seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist to support the development of AI training environments. This fully remote contract role focuses on designing realistic marketing scenarios and evaluating AI agent performance against professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Design task briefs based on real-world lifecycle and CRM marketing workflows, including intentional challenges and decision points that distinguish expert practitioners
• Specify necessary supporting materials such as documents, dashboards, customer personas, and tool states to create realistic task scenarios
• Write and review reference solutions with clear evaluation criteria that separate strong approaches from plausible but suboptimal ones
• Evaluate AI agent attempts against professional marketing standards
• Work through complex scenarios involving messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, quality assurance, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, and reporting
• Orchestrate multi-step workflows across several marketing and analytics tools

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Hands-on practitioner experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing
• Proficiency with an email service provider (ESP), a CRM platform such as Salesforce, and product analytics tools like Amplitude
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain decision-making and reasoning
• Ability to complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to this marketing domain

Preferred:

• Experience building AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies
• Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification
