Developer – Fokus Secure Software (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential software consultancy based in Nuremberg, and we're seeking a Developer with a focus on Secure Software Development. In this role, you will:

• Develop modern, secure software solutions in cloud and web environments using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or Python
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new features
• Support cross-project initiatives related to secure software development, including secure coding practices, security best practices, and application security risk analysis
• Develop and implement appropriate security measures and controls
• Build security awareness across the organization and promote knowledge transfer
• Engage with current topics such as secure development and deployment of AI systems and LLMs
• Take ownership of security initiatives and drive them forward with strategic thinking

What We're Looking For

• Passion for both software development and IT security
• Professional experience in software projects with understanding of modern development practices
• Background in DevSecOps, IT security, secure coding, or application security—whether you're building expertise or already have deep experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular, databases, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and generative AI is helpful
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge with others
• German language skills at B2 level or higher for effective communication with clients and team members
