Eurofins is hiring an Entry Level Microbiologist for 2nd shift work at our Lancaster, PA laboratory. This is a full-time position for a detail-oriented professional ready to launch a career in microbiological testing and analysis.

About This Position

Join Eurofins' laboratory team in Lancaster as an Entry Level Microbiologist and contribute to critical testing and analysis work. In this 2nd shift role, you'll gain hands-on experience with microbiological methods, quality assurance procedures, and industry-standard laboratory practices. Your Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing procedures and analysis according to established laboratory protocols
• Prepare, culture, and examine microbial samples using proper aseptic techniques
• Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Follow quality control standards and safety procedures throughout all work
• Support the laboratory team to ensure timely completion of testing assignments
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain laboratory standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work
• Solid understanding of microbiological principles and laboratory practices
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols
• Laboratory experience through coursework, internships, or entry-level work preferred
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
