Analytical Chemist- Oligonucleotide Testing

Eurofins is recruiting an Analytical Chemist specializing in Oligonucleotide Testing to join our Testing & Laboratory division in Lancaster, PA. This is a full-time role focused on advancing our analytical capabilities in nucleotide chemistry and quality assurance.

What This Role Involves

You'll perform specialized analytical testing on oligonucleotide samples and drug substances using state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation. Your work ensures that pharmaceutical and biotech products meet rigorous quality and purity standards before they reach the market. Operating in a regulated laboratory environment, you'll develop and refine testing methods, interpret analytical data, and contribute to continuous improvement in our Lancaster facility's testing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing on oligonucleotide samples using techniques such as liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and capillary electrophoresis
• Execute test methods according to established standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Prepare, analyze, and document test results with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments
• Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in method validation studies
• Maintain organized laboratory records and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
• Collaborate with senior chemists and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Working knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
• Familiarity with chromatography, spectroscopy, or mass spectrometry methods
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain precise documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license for the Lancaster, PA area
