About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cloud services organization in their search for a Senior Integration Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is a fully remote position based in Mexico, offering the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale integration solutions with cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using modern integration platforms
- Develop and maintain integrations using object-oriented programming languages, primarily Java
- Build and optimize web services using REST and SOAP protocols
- Work with message brokers and enterprise messaging systems to ensure reliable data flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect integration patterns that meet business requirements
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality standards across integration codebases
- Deploy and maintain applications on various application servers
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field
- More than 6 years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Deep understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- Proven experience with enterprise integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Boomi, SnapLogic, Informatica, or TIBCO
- Web services experience with REST or SOAP
- SQL experience with databases including MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle DB
- Experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or Azure Service Bus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading technical teams and projects
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Spring and Spring Boot framework experience
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks
- Working knowledge of Jira and Bitbucket
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience deploying applications to servers such as Apache, Tomcat, Glassfish, or IIS
