About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI consultancy based in Berlin that specializes in machine learning solutions for the public sector. Our talent team is seeking a working student to support their Public Sector strategy and innovation initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of public administration through AI-driven digital projects at EU, federal, and state levels.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and growth of public sector business opportunities in the AI space
- Identify innovation potential at the intersection of artificial intelligence and public administration (EU, federal, and state government levels)
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings with public sector stakeholders including ministries, health insurance providers, and government agencies
- Contribute to the design of AI project concepts in collaboration with machine learning scientists
- Conduct research and analysis to explore new business fields and opportunities
- Support customer-facing activities and relationship development with public sector clients
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a business or technical degree program with at least 3 semesters remaining
- German language proficiency at C1 level or higher (required)
- Professional English communication skills for internal collaboration
- Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for customer engagement and business development
- Strong independent work ethic, structured approach, and quick learning ability
- Available to work minimum 16 hours per week
- Interest in technology and its practical applications
- Preferred: Based in or near Berlin
- Plus: Previous experience or understanding of public administration stakeholder interests through internships, working student positions, or academic studies
- Plus: Demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative or exposure to business development
