About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cloud-modernization technology company in their search for a Full Stack Product Engineer Intern. Our client is building an agent-native platform that automates enterprise modernization workflows, and this internship will place you directly on the product engineering team working on their core frontend application.
You will work alongside senior full-stack engineers building production features in React and Next.js, participating in the complete software delivery lifecycle from sprint planning through release validation. This is not a sandbox project—you'll contribute to a real enterprise product with active customers, gaining hands-on experience in modern frontend development, testing discipline, and collaborative product delivery.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining features across a React and Next.js frontend under the guidance of senior engineers
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to take features from specification through tested release
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to develop a product-first engineering mindset
- Write test cases before code under mentor review, practicing test-driven development discipline
- Help create test coverage for features you build, including functional flows, edge cases, and regression scenarios
- Learn how features are owned end-to-end, from development through deployment and post-release validation
- Write clear, well-documented code and submit pull requests for team review
- Document your work—features, test plans, and technical decisions—in a way that others can follow independently
- Shadow coordination between engineering, DevOps, and QA to understand how clean, repeatable releases are maintained
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (final-year students welcome)
- Working knowledge of React.js fundamentals: components, state, and hooks
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or TypeScript basics
- Curiosity about how production software actually ships—not just how it's coded
- Comfortable asking for feedback and iterating quickly on it
- Genuine interest in testing discipline and quality, not just feature output
- No prior professional experience required; personal projects, coursework, or hackathon work count
Preferred:
- Some exposure to Next.js, Git, and modern frontend tooling
- Any exposure to AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, or Cognito through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or any automated testing framework
- A GitHub profile or portfolio showing projects you've built
