About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mid-sized clinical research organization with a global footprint and over 3,500 professionals dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical development. Our client is seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter to lead their talent acquisition efforts for VP-level and C-suite positions across the United States. This is a strategic role for a seasoned recruitment professional who excels at building executive pipelines and partnering with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract senior executive talent at the VP level and above
• Partner with senior leadership to define role requirements and organizational talent needs
• Source candidates through direct networking, industry contacts, and advanced LinkedIn Talent Insights
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified executive candidates for current and future openings
• Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments including in-depth interviews, qualifications review, and cultural fit evaluation
• Lead reference checks and manage the full executive interview process
• Develop talent mapping strategies for critical roles at competitor organizations and target companies
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on market trends, compensation benchmarking, and talent acquisition best practices
• Negotiate complex compensation packages balancing organizational constraints with candidate expectations
• Ensure exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and accurate recruitment documentation
• Provide market intelligence and competitive landscape analysis to inform workforce planning

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of executive recruitment experience with focus on senior-level positions
• Proven track record placing VP-level and C-suite executives in high-impact roles
• Strong understanding of clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
• Advanced sourcing skills including direct networking, referral generation, and competitive intelligence gathering
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing abilities at the executive level
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with senior leaders and executive candidates
• Strategic thinking with analytical approach to market trends and talent dynamics
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Experience with LinkedIn Talent Insights and executive assessment methodologies
