Board-Certified Psychiatrist – Fully Remote | Upto $150/hr

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a fully remote contract role. This unique position involves evaluating and improving how artificial intelligence systems approach complex psychiatric reasoning. You'll work directly with research teams to design expert-level clinical challenges and provide gold-standard diagnostic frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate how large language models reason through advanced psychiatric cases
• Design expert-level diagnostic and reasoning challenges that test current AI model capabilities
• Develop gold-standard answers with clear clinical reasoning and documentation
• Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differential diagnoses, and comprehensive risk assessment
• Collaborate directly with AI research teams to improve model performance
• Provide detailed feedback on common failure modes in clinical reasoning

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed psychiatry residency through ACGME, AOA, or recognized national equivalent
• Medical degree: MD or DO
• Active board certification in psychiatry: ABPN, FRCPC, MRCPsych, FRANZCP, or recognized national equivalent
• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Minimum 3 years of independent practice following residency
• Current practice in an accredited or government-licensed setting
• Based in the US, UK, Europe, or Australia

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ direct patient-contact hours per week in current practice
• Subspecialty depth in Addiction Psychiatry, Child/Adolescent, Forensic, Geriatric, or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
• OSCE development or examiner experience
• Faculty appointment in a department of psychiatry, current or within the past 2 years
