About This Position

CIMA+ is expanding its Information Technology operations, and we're looking for a dedicated System Administrator to own our GitHub platform deployment and DevSecOps strategy. This full-time position is remote, offering flexibility while you drive platform excellence. You'll bridge development and security, ensuring our systems remain resilient, compliant, and performant as the organization scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize our GitHub platform environment, including configuration, user provisioning, and access governance
• Design and implement DevSecOps practices that embed security throughout the software development lifecycle
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and security posture; respond to incidents and escalations promptly
• Manage infrastructure supporting development operations, including integration points, automation, and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to standardize practices and improve toolchain efficiency
• Document systems, procedures, and architectural decisions to support knowledge sharing and continuity

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience administering GitHub (GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise, or equivalent version control platforms)
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding practices, and compliance frameworks
• System administration expertise with Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and configuration management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning
