CIMA+ is hiring a System Administrator – GitHub Platform & DevSecOps for a full-time remote role based in Québec, Quebec. About This Position
We're looking for a System Administrator with specialization in GitHub platform management and DevSecOps to join our Information Technology team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to architect and maintain our development infrastructure in Québec while contributing to security and operational excellence across our technology organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain GitHub environments, managing repositories, team permissions, branch protection policies, and organizational settings
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across our development platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts, performance issues, and security events affecting development workflows
- Support integration of security scanning and compliance automation into build and deployment processes
- Collaborate with development and security teams to define and enforce DevSecOps standards and best practices
- Document system configurations, runbooks, and procedures to maintain operational clarity across the team
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience administering GitHub Cloud or GitHub Enterprise in production environments
- Strong foundation in DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices
- Experience with infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, or containerisation technologies
- Knowledge of security fundamentals including identity management, network security, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience in system administration
