About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential beauty brand in their search for a working student to support their organic social media presence. This is a remote opportunity based in Germany, with up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce company in the beauty sector, known for innovative product technology and a passionate approach to digital marketing. They're looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, knows every trending TikTok sound, and wants to turn creative ideas into real content for an established brand.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, creation, and publishing of content across Instagram and TikTok
• Create short-form videos, Stories, and static posts that align with brand voice
• Assist with community management by engaging with followers authentically
• Identify and leverage relevant trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments
• Support content shoots, product launches, and campaign activations
• Coordinate content assets, captions, and publishing schedules
• Contribute fresh, platform-native ideas that keep the brand relevant and entertaining
• Appear on camera as needed to create relatable, authentic content

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Currently enrolled at a German university for the duration of employment (Werkstudent status)
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content formats and best practices
• Hands-on experience creating short-form social content
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
• Ability to write engaging, on-brand short-form copy in German and English
• Deep interest in social media trends and digital culture
• Creative, proactive mindset with willingness to contribute ideas
• Strong instinct for what feels authentic and relevant on social platforms
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable appearing on camera
• Community-first communication style
• Fast-paced, pragmatic approach to testing new formats

Preferred:

• Prior experience in social media, content creation, community management, or influencer marketing
• Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools
• Experience filming smartphone content and setting up basic lighting
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
• Interest in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors
• Personal experience building or managing your own social media account
• Genuine enthusiasm for beauty and nail trends
• Strong sense of storytelling and attention-grabbing hooks
• Comfort interacting with creators and community members
• Humor and approachable communication style
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly
