Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential mobile technology client in their search for a Billing Manager. This remote role focuses on payment operations, fraud prevention, and billing optimization for a fast-growing digital product portfolio.

We're looking for someone with deep expertise in payment systems, chargeback management, and vendor negotiations who can drive efficiency across billing operations while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize key billing performance indicators including authorization rates, risk metrics, and cost efficiency through detailed analytics
• Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements with payment service providers
• Collaborate with product managers, customer support, finance, management, and engineering teams on payment initiatives
• Research and evaluate payment methods across different geographic markets
• Manage chargebacks, refunds, and fraud prevention measures
• Drive data-driven improvements to payment processing and authorization flows

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 1+ years of experience as a Billing Manager or Anti-Fraud Manager
• Hands-on experience managing chargebacks, refunds, performance metrics, and cost optimization
• Experience working with multiple payment service providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, Adyen, Checkout, and similar platforms
• Knowledge of orchestration platforms, 3DS, payment tokenization, and chargeback protection tools
• Familiarity with analytics platforms like Amplitude, Jira, and Tableau
• Strong understanding of alternative payment methods including PIX, Blik, Cashapp, Revolut, and others
• Strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently, formulate hypotheses, and develop solutions
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher

Preferred:

• Background in financial services or banking
• Understanding of unit economics and data-driven decision-making methodologies
• Experience creating technical requirements for developers and running A/B tests
• Track record of successful negotiations with business partners
