AI Automation Engineer (FitMe)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobile health and wellness company in their search for an AI Automation Engineer. Our client has built a popular fitness application serving users worldwide, and they need a technical automation specialist to scale their creative production and user acquisition workflows using AI and low-code platforms.

This is a remote position open to candidates globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated creative generation systems including variations, localization, resizes, and both static and video formats
• Build competitor creative parsing tools to identify top-performing content and emerging trends
• Collaborate directly with user acquisition managers, creative producers, and designers to automate routine tasks
• Build auto-launch functionality for advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
• Develop recommendation systems and automated campaign management tools
• Implement AI tools that enable non-technical team members to work independently
• Maintain existing automations including database scripts, workflow platforms, and third-party integrations
• Create transparent automation systems with clear statuses, logs, and alerts for troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 1+ years of commercial JavaScript/Node.js development experience
• Confident working with REST APIs of third-party services
• Experience with a low-code automation platform such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar
• Experience with Airtable or a similar low-code database
• Experience integrating LLMs into workflows (OpenAI, Claude, or others)
• Understanding of how to build reliable data pipelines
• Ability to work independently through the full cycle: understand requirements, choose technical approach, launch, and support

Preferred experience:

• Automating creative production workflows including generation, variations, localization, and render pipelines
• Working with advertising APIs (Meta Marketing API, AppLovin, TikTok, Google Ads)
• Media pipelines using ffmpeg or After Effects
• AI services for creative generation including image/video generation, dubbing, speech synthesis, recognition, and translation
• Understanding of user acquisition and mobile marketing metrics (CPA, ROI, LTV)
