Programme Manager (Trade)

About the Role

We are representing a confidential marketplace platform in their search for a Programme Manager to drive strategic operational initiatives across their trade lifecycle function. Based in Moorgate, London, this is a senior individual contributor role for someone who turns strategic vision into structured, measurable delivery.

You won't manage teams directly — but you'll shape how they work, what they prioritise, and whether transformational initiatives actually stick. You'll partner across Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and CRM to ensure the right solutions get built, rolled out, and embedded into daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of critical strategic programmes from scoping and planning through to execution and review
• Lead tooling and systems rollout across Retention, Credit Control, and Trade Support functions — defining requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring adoption
• Design and standardise processes where documentation is lacking or systems are breaking down under scale
• Drive change management: stakeholder communications, rollout sequencing, training delivery, and adoption tracking to ensure initiatives are embedded, not just launched
• Act as senior coordination point between operational teams and cross-functional partners including Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and CRM
• Build and maintain reporting infrastructure and KPI frameworks to track transformation delivery and programme performance

What We're Looking For

• Substantial experience in programme management, operations, or strategy delivery — ideally within high-growth tech or marketplace environments
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from design through to measurable outcomes — you own results, not just plans
• Strong project management capabilities: managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, identifying dependencies early, and keeping senior stakeholders informed without overwhelming them
• Experience leading tooling or systems rollouts in operational settings — you understand both the technical implementation and the people-side change management challenge
• Proficiency with project management platforms (Jira, Asana, Monday or similar) and reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, or advanced Excel/Sheets)
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to spot where processes need strengthening before they become blockers
