Principal Product Manager, Conversational AI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential travel technology organization seeking a Principal Product Manager, Conversational AI to lead their customer-facing agentic AI assistant. This role owns the end-to-end experience for an AI agent that resolves real customer issues—flight changes, cancellations, refunds, and bookings—over chat and voice for major travel brands and enterprises worldwide.

This is a high-impact position where you'll define the conversational experience, interface design, and product strategy for an AI system serving millions of travelers.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer-facing AI agent product from concept through launch and iteration
• Define and optimize conversational flows for complex travel scenarios including flight changes, cancellations, refunds, and new bookings
• Design the user interface and interaction patterns across chat and voice channels
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to build and refine the AI assistant
• Establish success metrics and drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and performance data
• Partner with enterprise clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions at scale
• Shape product roadmap and strategy for conversational AI capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on conversational AI, chatbots, or voice assistants
• Deep understanding of large language models, agentic AI systems, and natural language processing
• Proven track record shipping customer-facing AI products at scale
• Strong technical background with ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams
• Experience designing conversation flows and multi-turn dialogue systems
• Data-driven approach to product decisions with expertise in defining and tracking AI product metrics
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience in travel, e-commerce, or customer service domains preferred
