Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential client in the education merchandise sector, seeking a Customer Support & Graphic Design Specialist to join their team in Essen.
In this role, you will:
- Guide customers independently through the entire process from initial contact through quotation to contract completion
- Advise and train customers on design options, products and workflows
- Create motifs and designs from initial customer briefing through to final artwork
- Develop layouts across various themes and topics
- Produce visualizations, graphics, catalogs and publications
- Contribute to merchandise and textile design concepts
- Bring your own ideas and actively develop processes, templates and designs
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication skills and confidence in direct customer contact via phone, messaging platforms and in-person
- Engaged, independent and motivated approach with enthusiasm for autonomous customer management
- Proficiency in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) plus Canva experience
- Strong sense of design and excellent attention to detail
- Interest or ideally experience in merchandise/textiles
- Willingness to learn new and modern AI tools
- Professional qualification in graphic design or media design
- Hands-on mentality with desire to actively develop rather than just execute
- Enthusiasm for varied, evolving responsibilities in a dynamic environment
