Staff AI Product Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI technology company seeking a Staff AI Product Manager to join their expanding product organization in London. In this high-ownership role, you will:

• Lead a major component of the AI platform or agent product surface, owning vision, strategy, and measurable impact for your area
• Develop deep expertise across customer needs, business objectives, and underlying AI systems to drive informed product decisions and roadmap development
• Collaborate daily with machine learning scientists, ML engineers, AI designers, and researchers to transform advanced AI capabilities into valuable product experiences
• Ship ambitious AI features from early exploration through production launch, running fast experiments, defining success metrics, and iterating based on performance data
• Partner across product, go-to-market, marketing, support, and operations teams to integrate AI functionality and drive customer adoption
• Provide clear leadership and create alignment across cross-functional teams while maintaining momentum toward impactful outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Strong AI and technical fluency: Proven experience building or working deeply with AI/ML products, ideally including generative AI. You can discuss model behavior, evaluation approaches, prompts, architectures, constraints, and trade-offs effectively with technical partners
• Excellent product judgment: Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, and technical realities. You know when to pursue ambitious innovation versus iterating quickly, and can translate ambiguous AI capabilities into clear product value
• Sharp problem framing: Demonstrated capability to independently understand complex problems through research, data analysis, and customer conversations, then articulate them as crisp problem statements
• Product craft excellence: Experience collaborating with engineering and design to ship high-quality software. You understand how to test, measure, and iterate on AI systems and user-facing features while prioritizing safety and reliability
• Communication and leadership: Strong ability to influence across organizations, bring structure to ambiguity, and create momentum. You communicate clearly and frequently to maintain alignment
• Comfort working autonomously in complex technical environments with fast-moving, ambiguous conditions
