About This Opportunity
We are representing a leading communications agency in the German market, seeking a talented (Junior) Art Director to join their creative team in Berlin. Our client is a full-service agency with expertise in conception, creative development, editorial work, campaigns, social media, and digital platforms. They work with clients across business, politics, society, and media sectors, developing everything from social media campaigns to television spots and websites.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive visual design concepts from strategic ideas through to technical implementation
- Create and refine visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, and multi-channel projects
- Provide visual polish and sharper profiles to creative concepts
- Manage day-to-day creative tasks while maintaining oversight of complex projects
- Transform intricate topics into clear, compelling visual communications
- Produce motion graphics and video content as needed
- Apply AI tools effectively within the creative workflow
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1.5 years of agency experience
- Strong ability to develop visual concepts from initial ideas and execute them independently
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics
- Experience creating video content
- Keen eye for design trends, typography, and visual details
- Curiosity about the strategic structure behind design decisions
- Self-directed work style with ability to handle complex, multi-faceted projects
- German language skills required for this Berlin-based position
