Head of Product Marketing (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential direct-to-consumer fashion brand in Hamburg that is searching for a Head of Product Marketing to bridge product development and performance marketing at scale. You will own product launches end-to-end, building the positioning, timing, and cross-functional coordination with performance teams, creative, CRM, and e-commerce. You will establish a customer insights function from the ground up—building panels, running segmentation, conducting qualitative interviews, and systematically mining community feedback and ad comment data to inform product briefs. Your insights translate directly into development priorities: fit improvements, comfort features, and new model concepts flow from your work into the product roadmap and founder discussions.

You will craft core messaging and creative angle hypotheses for each product, briefing the creative team on which problems the product solves, for whom, and why now. Campaign test results feed back into your insight loop. You will design bundles and offers with contribution margin in mind, not just conversion. You will systematically evaluate customer feedback from surveys, reviews, and return reasons, and ensure findings reach both the product team and campaign planning. You define which unique selling points new products should carry to succeed in social media and serve specific niches perfectly.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years in product marketing, brand management, or growth, ideally at a D2C brand or in e-commerce
• Proven track record owning product launches with measurable outcomes
• Strong writing skills: you draft positioning statements, briefs, and landing page copy clearly and without jargon
• Comfort with numbers—conversion rates, contribution margin, and sell-through are familiar metrics
• Understanding of performance creative mechanics and what makes an effective hook
• Fluent German and good English
