Social Media Intern

Remilia seeks a Social Media Intern to join our Orange County office and drive visual storytelling across platforms for our distinctive fashion and design brand.

The Opportunity

As a Social Media Intern at Remilia, you'll contribute to a multidisciplinary art studio and lifestyle brand that creates social platforms, fashion lines, digital products, and cultural events rooted in underground aesthetics. This role offers hands-on experience developing content strategies, visual assets, and community engagement for a brand with global reach and a deliberately unconventional perspective. This is a part-time position of 15–20 hours per week for 3–6 months, with potential to extend based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop visually striking social media content tailored to fashion launches and product announcements
• Transform creative photography, event footage, and design projects into optimized social assets
• Monitor, respond to, and foster engagement within online communities across multiple platforms
• Coordinate content calendars, schedule posts, and publish content consistently
• Capture and share real-time updates during fashion events, product releases, and cultural moments
• Analyze engagement data and prepare performance reports for optimization
• Stay current with emerging fashion aesthetics and short-form video trends

Who We're Looking For

You have an intuitive grasp of Remilia's aesthetic and contemporary internet culture. Ideally, you bring:

• Demonstrated experience creating content for fashion, lifestyle, or design-focused brands
• A refined visual eye and grounded knowledge of fashion photography and underground culture
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva
• Practical video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or iMovie
• Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and trends in short-form video
• Grasp of how platform algorithms operate and how content optimization drives discoverability
• A portfolio or active social accounts that showcase strong aesthetic sensibility

Nice-to-have experience: Social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later), Discord community oversight, or a background in fashion, streetwear, or design communities.

Working at Remilia

You'll work in-person at our Orange County office, with occasional evening and weekend hours for event coverage. Compensation is $18–$23 per hour based on your experience and skill level.
