Fox is seeking a Manager for StudentU, our college sports digital platform covering Big Ten Network content and programming. This full-time position is based in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County.
The Opportunity
As Manager, StudentU - Big Ten Network, you'll lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of StudentU's Big Ten coverage. You'll oversee platform initiatives designed to engage student audiences with college sports storytelling, manage the intersection of digital content and broadcast programming, and drive how fans connect with Big Ten athletic events. This role puts you at the center of Fox Sports' commitment to building the next generation of college sports enthusiasts through direct, student-focused engagement.
Core Duties
- Own platform strategy, content planning, and programming execution for StudentU's Big Ten offerings
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between content, product, editorial, and marketing teams
- Build and nurture partnerships with student athletes, campus influencers, and collegiate brands aligned with Big Ten properties
- Track engagement metrics, audience behavior, and content performance to inform strategy and decision-making
- Coordinate with Fox Sports broadcast teams to maximize reach and visibility for college sports programming
- Design and launch student-facing initiatives that drive awareness and loyalty to Big Ten athletics
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing digital platforms, sports properties, or media operations
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in competitive, fast-moving environments
- Deep familiarity with college sports culture, Big Ten athletics, and how students engage with sports
- Hands-on experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and performance measurement
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, sports management, journalism, or equivalent experience
