Fox News is seeking an experienced Booker for FOX News Saturday Night w/ Jimmy Failla, a prominent weekend news program. This is a full-time position based in New York City, where you'll identify, vet, and secure compelling guests and talent for each broadcast alongside our production team and host.
About the Role
As Booker for FOX News Saturday Night w/ Jimmy Failla, you'll drive the show's guest lineup by researching potential participants, building relationships with key figures and their representatives, and negotiating appearances that deliver newsworthy, engaging segments. You'll collaborate closely with producers and editorial staff to align guest bookings with the show's direction and current events.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pitch guest prospects from political, business, entertainment, media, and cultural sectors
- Conduct preliminary interviews and background research to assess fit and credibility
- Negotiate appearance terms, manage guest schedules, and coordinate logistics
- Cultivate and maintain an active network of political figures, newsmakers, experts, and entertainment personalities
- Track breaking news, cultural moments, and trending topics to identify real-time booking opportunities
- Work with segment producers and the host to position guests strategically within the show
- Manage all aspects of guest relations from initial outreach to post-appearance follow-up
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of booking, talent relations, or production experience in broadcast media or news
- Proven track record cultivating and leveraging high-level professional contacts
- Deep knowledge of news cycles, politics, media landscape, and current events
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
- Cable news industry experience preferred
