Construction Project Engineer – AECOM Hunt

AECOM is hiring a full-time Construction Project Engineer to join the Hunt team across our Tampa, Orlando, and Gainesville offices. This is an on-site role offering the opportunity to advance your career in construction project management and engineering.

The Opportunity

As a Construction Project Engineer with AECOM Hunt, you'll contribute directly to the successful delivery of construction projects while working alongside experienced project managers and field teams. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in construction administration, subcontractor coordination, and project delivery. The position is expected to begin immediately, allowing you to start making an impact right away.

Core Duties

• Support the Project Management team in all aspects of construction administration and project oversight
• Develop and maintain subcontractor reports to ensure transparent communication between field teams, supervisors, and clients
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and compliance with contractual requirements
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients
• Assist in quality assurance reviews and document management throughout the project lifecycle

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in construction documentation, schedules, and reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with construction management software and industry standards is a plus
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed
