About the Role
As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at Mclane, you'll transport goods to retail and commercial customers across the region, supporting the supply chain for some of America's most recognized brands. This is a full-time position where your professionalism and commitment to safety make a direct impact on our customers and communities.
What You'll Do
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Load, unload, and secure cargo according to weight and balance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch teams
- Meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to changing traffic conditions and adjust routes as directed
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance
- Reliable and professional attitude with strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and handle goods regularly
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
