As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work alongside the Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our Hartville store's success. You'll manage a dedicated team of associates, ensure customers receive exceptional service, maintain store standards, and foster a workplace where colleagues feel valued and supported. This is hands-on leadership that keeps you engaged with both your team and community throughout every shift.

Core Duties

• Assist the Store Manager with directing daily store operations and team supervision
• Lead, train, and motivate store associates to deliver outstanding customer service
• Monitor store appearance, merchandising displays, and cleanliness standards
• Support opening and closing procedures and oversee cash handling protocols
• Help manage inventory levels, stock organization, and merchandise presentation
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
• Uphold all company policies and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate store employees
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving capabilities
• Availability to work flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work a full retail shift
