Position Summary

As Assistant Store Manager at our Pegram location, you'll support the Store Manager in driving daily operations, maintaining store standards, and building a productive team. You'll gain exposure to inventory management, sales performance, loss prevention, and customer satisfaction—all essential skills for advancing in retail management.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing store procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
• Supervise and train store associates on product knowledge, customer service, and company standards
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock placement, and help maintain accurate merchandise records
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper merchandising displays, and adherence to visual standards
• Support customer service initiatives and handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally
• Assist with scheduling, payroll administration, and employee relations support
• Help drive store sales performance and participate in promotional activities
• Support loss prevention efforts and maintain store security standards

Who We're Looking For

• Proven retail or customer service management experience, or strong potential to develop into a management role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Physical ability to lift merchandise, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours including weekends
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high store standards
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
