About the Role

As an ASST STORE MGR, you partner with the Store Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly, meets sales goals, and provides a welcoming shopping experience for customers. You help oversee staff, maintain visual standards, and enforce company policies while contributing to a positive team environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Store Manager with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
• Supervise, train, and schedule associates to ensure adequate coverage and high levels of customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate merchandise receipts, and execute planogram compliance.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards according to Dollar General guidelines.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
• Assist in conducting performance observations and providing feedback to team members.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and ensure adherence to security protocols.

What We're Looking For
