This role offers structured mentorship and professional development for those beginning their career in diagnostic cardiac sonography.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound examinations using advanced ultrasound equipment
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exam protocols to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Obtain and document high-quality ultrasound images under clinical supervision
  • Communicate findings and technical observations to the cardiologist overseeing your work
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all imaging documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment, verifying functionality and image quality
  • Adhere to established imaging protocols and quality assurance procedures

What You Bring

  • Recent completion of an accredited echocardiography training program or equivalent education
  • Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and common pathologies
  • Strong interpersonal and patient communication abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ultrasound equipment operation
  • Commitment to accuracy and high-quality diagnostic imaging
  • Genuine interest in developing expertise within cardiovascular sonography
  • ARDMS certification or active pursuit of sonography credentials preferred
